" I love doing what I do. The RV industry is more than just fixing and selling trailers; it's about dealing with people and building a team," says Chase Oliver. His journey from a service technician to leading a dealership is a testament to hard work, dedication, and a deep-rooted passion for the industry.

Chase's journey into the RV world was far from conventional. With a background in the oil and gas industry, he traded in the rigors of the oil fields for the challenges of the RV service bay. With little experience, he quickly enrolled in SAIT, a technical school offering training for RV technicians and immersed himself in the world of RV repair.

The transition wasn't without its challenges. "I had no direction. I had no idea what I wanted to do. I didn't know if I wanted to stick in this industry. But the more you learn about it, the more rewarding it becomes."  Starting as a technician, he quickly climbed the ranks, gaining invaluable experience in every facet of the business. "I've done it all," Chase admits with a laugh. "From cleaning trailers to managing the sales floor, every role has shaped who I am today." His ability to adapt and learn quickly, coupled with a strong work ethic, have been instrumental to his success.

The path to becoming a successful RV dealership owner has been paved with challenges. From recruiting skilled technicians to navigating economic fluctuations, Chase has faced his fair share of obstacles. Yet, his unwavering determination and focus on building a strong team have been instrumental in his success. "Finding the right people is key," Chase emphasizes. "Creating a positive and incentivized work environment is essential for retaining talent and fostering a strong team culture."

Chase is optimistic about the future of the RV industry. With advancements in technology and a growing desire for outdoor adventures, he believes the industry is poised for continued growth. He also emphasizes the importance of adapting to changing market conditions and fostering a strong sense of community within the industry. "We're facing some challenges right now, but these are opportunities to innovate and become stronger," Chase says. "The RV industry is resilient, and I'm excited to see where it goes next."

Beyond running a successful business, Chase is passionate about inspiring the next generation of RV industry professionals. His involvement in career transition programs demonstrates his commitment to nurturing young talent and showcasing the diverse opportunities available within the industry. "We need to get the word out about the exciting careers in the RV industry," Chase explains. "By inspiring young people, we can ensure the industry's continued success."

Chase Oliver's story is a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for the RV lifestyle. His journey from technician to dealership owner is an inspiration to anyone looking to make their mark in the industry.
