about us

A national, volunteer federation of provincial and regional RVDA associations and their members, the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada is a professional trade association that works on behalf of all retail businesses involved in the recreation vehicle industry. Advocacy, professional development and industry initiatives are developed by members, for members and delivered on their behalf by the RVDA.

Mission

The RVDA of Canada is a national federation which exists to advocate, protect, and promote the interests of all RV Dealers across Canada in order to enable the industry to maximize its potential.

ROLE

The RVDA of Canada has a focus on issues that are of common concern, affect and benefit RV Dealers collectively across Canada. The RVDA of Canada will provide support to provincial and regional RVDAs on provincial and regional issues that have the potential to impact RV Dealers across Canada. The RVDA of Canada will consider supporting provincial and regional RVDAs on issues important to a provincial or regional RVDA and its RV Dealer members, at the written request of the provincial or regional RVDA to the RVDA of Canada Board of Directors.

Since 1996, the RVDA of Canada has championed attracting and retaining skilled workers in the RV industry. They established a national Education and Human Resources committee to raise awareness of job opportunities. Additionally, they collaborate with public and private training providers. This ensures training programs keep pace with the latest technology, fostering a thriving RV industry across Canada.
