We are thrilled to announce that the RVDA of Canada is gearing up for an exhilarating RV Career Showcase, set to take place at the Centre de Foires in Quebec City on May 30 and 31, 2024. This event is a cornerstone in our commitment to nurturing the next generation of talent by promoting RV career opportunities to youths. As a proud try-a-trade exhibitor at the 2024 Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC), we are dedicated to sparking interest and passion among young minds.

What is the Skills Canada National Competition?

The Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC) stands as the sole national, multi-trade, and technology competition for students and apprentices in the country. Annually, it attracts over 13,000 visitors from across Canada, engaging in try-a-trade and career exploration activities while supporting 550 competitors representing all regions of Canada. These competitors partake in over 40 skilled trade and technology competitions, making SCNC a prime venue for students to acquire hands-on experience and deepen their understanding of the skilled trades sector.

What can students and teachers expect to see at this event?

The importance of industry collaboration cannot be overstated, and we are proud to have Roulottes ProLite and Atlas Trailer Coach Products join us in this endeavour. Roulottes ProLite stands as a beacon of Quebec manufacturing excellence, while Atlas' role as the activity sponsor is pivotal in bringing this event to life. Together, we are not just showcasing career paths; we are building dreams and fostering the growth of our sector.

With representation from RV retail, wholesale and aftermarket, the RV Careers team of volunteers is dedicated to promoting the diversity of the skills required in many fixed operations roles and in the workforce.
